Originally from Bogor, Indonesia, Tafry has embraced Aotearoa as his home for nearly a decade. His journey in the camera department began four years ago on The Rings of Power, where he quickly proved his dedication and skill. He then secured his first full-time role as a trainee on Evil Dead Rise, a stepping stone that propelled him into an exciting career in film and television.

Since then, Tafry has had the privilege of working on a diverse range of local and international productions, adapting seamlessly to projects of all scales. With a strong passion for teamwork and collaboration, he thrives in fast-paced environments alongside some of the industry’s best. 

When he’s not on set, he enjoys spending time with family, cycling through scenic trails, and playing social football.
